The Mining Operations Manager, Mary River & Voisey's Bay, will successfully manage Toromont Cat's overall presence and relationship with the mine site customer to successfully drive safety, customer experience, KPI's, and Financial goals.

In a typical day, YOU will:- Model the way for safe and healthy work behaviours to drive a Safety First culture.
- Be responsible for the general management of the remote operation and primary liaison between site management and Toromont Mining Division.
- Drive strategy and actions for the successful achievement of customer and Toromont KPI's and business goals; manage financial reporting including P&L, budget and expense management.
- Be responsible to grow "value add" solutions and contracts at site through ongoing marketing, quoting, and profiling of technology and parts products that will support operational growth.
- Complete customer focused continuous improvement projects aligned with cost per tonne reduction initiatives.
- Forecast annual parts usage and ensure that dealer inventory levels deliver the best equipment availability with a balance for overall capital investment.
- Actively motivate and coach teams to successfully achieve goals by addressing work-related issues through leadership and Company policies and guidelines.
Must-haves for this role:- Post-Secondary Education
- 5 years with proven Leadership expertise in overall mine site operations; experience with a dealership or similar work environment is a definite asset
- Ability to travel to site periodically
- Bilingual in English and French a preference.
