RequirementsThe Millwright Maintenance Coordinator oversees the maintenance activities within an organization, ensuring that all machinery, equipment, and facilities are kept in optimal working condition. This role involves coordinating and supervising a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring that all maintenance tasks are performed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards. The Millwright Maintenance Coordinator plays a critical role in minimizing downtime and enhancing the reliability of operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership and Supervision:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance personnel, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to the maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Maintenance Planning and Coordination:
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans, ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance tasks are carried out efficiently.
- Coordinate with production and operations teams to minimize downtime and disruption during maintenance activities.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Equipment and Facility Maintenance:
- Oversee the maintenance of machinery, equipment, and facilities, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment, coordinating repairs and replacements as necessary.
- Inventory and Resource Management:
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment, ensuring availability for maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary materials and services.
- Monitor maintenance budgets and control costs effectively.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, addressing any safety concerns promptly.
- Promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improving maintenance processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance operations.

Hours: 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. / Mon-Thurs (some mandatory overtime will be required)
