Position Overview: - Provide specialized instruction and co-teaching support to junior high students in inclusive general education science classrooms.
- Adapt curriculum, assignments, assessments, and instructional materials to support diverse learning needs and ensure access to grade-level content.
- Implement and monitor IEP accommodations, modifications, and support plans while collaborating with classroom teachers and school staff.
- Track student progress, maintain documentation, and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement
- Experience supporting middle school students with disabilities in a special education or co-teaching environment preferred
