Full Job Description
Wells Fargo is seeking a Middle Market Vendor Sales Specialist. This role manages and grows a portfolio of Equipment Finance Vendor Programs and serves as the primary relationship owner for assigned vendor partners. The position is responsible for program performance, risk management, and the overall client experience while working closely with credit, legal, operations, risk, and product teams to build and maintain compliant and scalable programs. This includes program structuring, approvals, and execution from initial engagement through launch. Strong relationship management skills, sound credit judgment, and the ability to lead complex initiatives are essential to supporting sustainable and profitable growth. In this role, you will: - Participate in the sourcing of new clients or growing existing relationships for a given product or specialty - Develop inquiries or identify gaps within the context of individual deals and client relationships to support the understanding of clients' businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions - Partner with coverage teams and senior peers, to complete low to moderately complex transactions for specialty products, including by analyzing potential opportunities, structuring tailored financial solutions, and participating in internal coordination, in support of the presentation of financial solutions to clients and transaction review by management or independent risk - Collaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders, including internal or external customers if applicable - Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing a sound understanding of relevant policies, procedures, and compliance requirements - Partner with product management functional partners to provide feedback on the use of tools to deliver credit solutions more effectively, meeting client and market needs - Contribute to functional area planning related to a given product or specialty Required Qualifications: - 2+ years of secured or specialized lending sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: - Experience in Equipment Finance, Vendor Finance, Commercial Banking, Credit, or Relationship Management. - Working knowledge of commercial credit principles, financial statement analysis, and transaction structuring. - Experience supporting client relationships and identifying opportunities for growth and portfolio expansion. - Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. - Ability to collaborate effectively with credit, risk, operations, legal, and product partners. - Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. - Experience preparing business reviews, client presentations, and financing proposals. - Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence partners without direct authority. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and comfort leveraging AI-enabled productivity tools to enhance efficiency and decision-making. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support strategic recommendations. Job Expectations: - This position offers a hybrid work schedule. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location.
