Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is looking for a
Mid-LevelStaff Analyst to support the
Space Launch Systems (SLS) Program in
Kennedy Space Center, FL.
Position Responsibilities: - Develops plans for long-range strategies, organizational goals, objectives and initiatives.
- Provides data for management review and tracking performance to plan.
- Develops, coordinates and assesses architecture of meeting content and leadership briefings.
- Conducts research and analyzes data from multiple sources.
- Delivers informational or technical materials.
- Researches and evaluates strategic organizational issues and identifies options.
- Provides strategic design, logistics and facilitation of large meetings/events.
- Develops and maintains the project schedule and budget.
- Monitors and tracks execution of the plan and communicates status to all project participants.
- Plans and coordinates organizational facility requirements.
- Develops and deploys localized training content.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.This is a NASA safety-sensitive position and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): - 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and Word
- 3+ years of experience collecting data on external firms/competitors and consolidated information into actionable items, reports and presentations for continuous improvement efforts
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):- Experience working with Space Launch System (SLS)
- Experience working with NASA
- The ability to act with discretion and have excellent judgment
- The ability to think creatively and outside the box to solve unique and challenging problems
- Motivated self-starter willing and able to push boundaries
- Goal-oriented, with a focus on utilizing data for insight
- Experience working with executives and senior customers and officials and their administrative teams
- Bachelor's degree or higher
