We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Mid-Level Hardware Engineer to join our Engineering team. This role will be responsible for the design, validation, and support of analog and mixed-signal electronics used in field-deployed industrial systems. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in analog circuit design, enjoys solving real-world engineering challenges, and is comfortable supporting products throughout their entire lifecycle-from concept and development through manufacturing and field support.
In addition to hardware design responsibilities, this position plays an important role in product lifecycle management by maintaining engineering documentation, managing bills of materials, supporting engineering change processes, and helping ensure continuity between engineering and manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and work closely with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and product teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions that support our customers' critical operations.
Primary Responsibilities- Analog and mixed-signal hardware design for field-deployed electronics
- Schematic design, component selection, and design validation
- Production support, failure analysis, and field issue resolution
- Cost reduction initiatives and alternate vendor qualification
Secondary Responsibilities (Arena / PLM) - Create and releaseelectronics BOMsin Arena
- Maintain approved vendor lists (AVL)
- Execute ECOs related to electrical changes
- Serve as backup for BOM release during peak loads or absences
Requirements
Key Qualifications- 4-7 years of hardware design experience
- Strong analog design background (signal conditioning, power, sensing)
- Experience with field-deployed or industrial electronics
- Familiarity with manufacturing support and lifecycle management
- Experience with PLM systems (Arena preferred)
Nice to Have- Exposure to cathodic protection, measurement, or industrial monitoring systems
- Experience with EOL mitigation and alternate sourcing
- Comfort working cross-functionally with mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams
