Required Qualifications
- 5+ years developing on Epicor ERP / Kinetic (Epicor ERP 10.x and Kinetic 2021+).
- Demonstrated experience with at least one Classic-to-Kinetic migration, including Application Studio rework of Classic customizations.
- Strong command of Epicor Functions (EFx) - building reusable, REST-exposed server-side logic.
- Expert-level BPM skills: Method Directives, Data Directives, custom C# code, and standard widgets.
- Proficiency with BAQs, dashboards, and Epicor reporting (BAQ Reports, SSRS; Advanced Print Routing a plus).
- Solid C# and SQL Server / T-SQL (Epicor data model, query tuning).
- Experience with the Epicor REST API (v1/v2) and integration patterns.
- Working knowledge of customization layers, personalization, and the Kinetic event/rule model.
Migration-Specific Expertise
- Mapping Classic form customizations to Kinetic Application Studio (events, rules, data views, REST, Functions).
- Refactoring inline Classic customization code into maintainable Epicor Functions and BPMs.
- Identifying where Epicor's conversion tooling falls short and manual re-implementation is required.
- Preserving UI behavior, validations, and business rules across the migration.
- Building repeatable validation/reconciliation processes to confirm parity post-migration.
Manufacturing Domain (Epicor Functional Knowledge)
- Strong manufacturing background - discrete and/or process manufacturing.
- Hands-on with core Epicor manufacturing modules: Job Management, Scheduling, MRP, Inventory, Purchasing, Quality Management, and MES.
- Practical understanding of manufacturing functions (production planning, shop-floor execution, material flow, costing, quality) and how they are configured and customized in Epicor.
- Ability to translate BPM process requirements - approvals, validations, automation, document flow - into directives and Functions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Epicor ECM / DocStar, Service Connect, or Advanced BPM.
- Product Configurator (EPC) experience.
- Azure / SQL Server administration exposure.
- Familiarity with manufacturing compliance, traceability, and audit-trail requirements (e.g., ISO).
Certifications
- Epicor certification.
