Microsoft Platform Technical Specialist Everforth ECS is seeking a Microsoft Platform Technical Specialist to support a rapidly growing Data Analytics and Business Intelligence platform focused on providing data solutions that empower our Federal customers. In this role, you will be supporting a cross-functional team (composed of data scientists, database admins, data engineers, SharePoint SMEs, developers, and functional staff) to operationalize and modernize a critical system within our Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) customer. The project being supported is extremely high priority and has a lot of visibility from senior Federal leadership. The ideal candidate for this role will have software engineering experience, familiarity with platform infrastructure and be a critical thinker with a systems-oriented mindset. This position requires self-motivation detail-oriented skillsets capable of juggling multiple high priority responsibilities, while remaining passionate about collaborating with various stakeholders. Job responsibilities include: 37 Microsoft platform architecture and governance 37 Supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of a modernization IT project from planning/ideation through to deployment/implementation 37 Facilitating weekly working group meetings with senior Federal staff to align on project progress across various stakeholders 37 Developing and managing strong relationships with federal stakeholders to ensure continued progress on identified initiatives 37 Resolving blockers and aligning cross-functional teams around project goals and technical requirements 37 Maintaining a modernization roadmap 37 Identifying, developing, and managing project schedules, resources, risks, priorities, and activities Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 General Description of Benefits 37 Must be a US Citizen. 37 Must be able to obtain a Public Trust. 37 Bachelors Degree 37 3+ years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on Microsoft Power Platform development and administration. 37 Hands-on experience designing and developing complex Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) and advanced Power Automate cloud flows. 37 Experience managing Power Platform environments, implementing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, and monitoring tenant capacity/usage. 37 Systems-oriented and infrastructure mindset with an understanding of Power Platform architecture within a federal cloud environment (GCC/GCC High). 37 Experience with Power Platform governance, security baselines, and ideally the Center of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kit. 37 Solid understanding of the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and SDLC within the Power Platform ecosystem (e.g., solutions management, environment variables, connection references).
