Lumel Technologies, Inc. is seeking
Microsoft Fabric Workload Development Engineers (multiple openings) in Plano, TX to analyze business and technical requirements for Lumel's Software products (Lumel EPM, xViz, ValQ, Inforiver, and the like) into software design patterns for implementation.
Role - Microsoft Fabric Workload Development Engineer- Analyze business and technical requirements for Lumel's Software products (Lumel EPM, xViz, ValQ, Inforiver, and the like) into software design patterns for implementation.
- Use SDKs/WDKs/APIs for Microsoft Fabric/Microsoft Power BI on Azure to translate requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Document technical processes, systems flow, data usage, and performance needs.
- Leverage appropriate Microsoft Fabric software development kit (SDK) or other BI Platform SDKs required for data retrieval, presentation and publishing into Microsoft Azure Marketplace as a downloadable software.
- Build software prototypes based on functional and technical specifications and demonstrate user experience.
- Work with our product managers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to receive necessary signoffs.
Educational Qualification-- Bachelor's degree (US or FDE) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field
- Microsoft DP-600 certification required.
Experience-- Minimum 2 years of software development experience using SDKs/WDKs/APIs for Microsoft Fabric/Microsoft Power BI on Azure.
Hours: Fulltime, 40 hours per week
