JOB SUMMARY:Business Operational Concepts (BOC) is currently seeking a seeking a
Microsoft CSP Account Manager to work with our federal client. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary account manager for the client's Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program, managing subscriptions, Azure consumption, and the overall Microsoft partner relationship, while also providing software and hardware licenses administration and management to ensure licenses are maintained, deployed, managed, tracked properly, and renewed efficiently. The incumbent will be considered a subject matter expert on software contracts and maintenance agreements and leverage industry standard knowledge and experiences in software licensing to ensure compliance in the completion of software license enterprise agreements and other related licensing documentation. The incumbent will also demonstrate sufficient technical skills and experience to coordinate with technical subject matter experts on the details of licensing terms, especially as they apply to technical specifics such as per core/socket/CPU/domain and similar nuances.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Review existing licenses and maintenance/support agreements to assess risk and recommend appropriate course of action.
- Review and provide recommendations regarding the terms and conditions of software license agreements and related documents on behalf of the agency.
- Identify potential breaches of contract and provide assessment of risk and financial exposure.
- Interpret licensing and support terms and issues and act as intermediary between business personnel and vendors.
- Work directly with OCIO staff and project teams to ensure requisite licensing rights and support contracts are secured with limited risk and financial exposure.
- Maintain an accurate list of software licenses and support contracts; their renewal dates; and other relevant materials to the ongoing acquisition and management of licenses and support contracts.
- Develop and deliver licensing proposals, presentations, and webcasts, as well as associated cost/benefit analysis.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) accounts, managing the end-to-end customer relationship and subscription lifecycle.
- Manage and process CSP orders, license additions/reductions, and subscription changes through the Microsoft Partner Center.
- Monitor Azure consumption and usage trends within CSP accounts to identify cost optimization opportunities and prevent unplanned overages.
- Develop and maintain CSP subscription plans, including Azure, Microsoft 365, and Dynamics 365 offerings, aligned to client business needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with Microsoft account teams, distributors, and internal stakeholders to support renewals and growth opportunities.
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and renewal documentation for CSP subscriptions and services.
- Advise clients on Microsoft licensing program changes, promotions, and transitions affecting the CSP model.
- Track CSP program compliance, incentive eligibility, and partner performance metrics.

Job Requirements

- Experience with developing Enterprise Agreements pertaining to major IT OEM vendors

- Experience managing Microsoft CSP (Cloud Solution Provider) accounts through Microsoft Partner Center
- Familiarity with Azure consumption tracking, cost management, and usage reporting
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent post-high school education, military and/or work-related experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of Server IT support/administration experience.
Preferred Qualifications - Education, Certification, Experience, Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities- ITIL V3 foundations certification
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) Designing and Providing Volume Licensing Solutions to Large Organizations
- Microsoft Get Licensing Ready (GLR) accreditations
- Experience with Microsoft VLSC, MYVMWare and other licensing consoles
- Microsoft Partner Center / CSP program management experience
