Overview

Silika, a division of Pinnacle Business Systems, is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Cloud Engineer to design, implement, migrate, secure, and optimize Microsoft cloud environments for commercial, education, financial, healthcare, and government customers.

This role is ideal for a consultant-level engineer who enjoys working directly with customers, leading technical discovery sessions, developing migration strategies, and delivering Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, and Microsoft security solutions. The successful candidate will serve as a technical lead on projects ranging from Microsoft 365 assessments and cloud migrations to GCC/GCCH tenant implementations and modern workplace security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 Architecture & Administration
  • Design, deploy, and support Microsoft 365 environments
  • Configure and optimize Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Power Platform services
  • Perform tenant assessments and provide strategic recommendations for improvement
  • Review licensing, governance, compliance, and security configurations
  • Lead customer workshops and discovery sessions to gather technical and business requirements
Identity & Security
  • Implement and manage Microsoft Entra ID
  • Configure Conditional Access policies, MFA, Self-Service Password Reset, and Identity Protection
  • Review and remediate security posture using Microsoft security best practices
  • Deploy and configure Microsoft Defender technologies
  • Assist customers with compliance initiatives including CMMC and Microsoft GCC/GCCH environments
Migrations & Tenant Implementations
  • Plan and execute Microsoft 365 migrations including:
    • Exchange migrations
    • SharePoint migrations
    • OneDrive migrations
    • Teams migrations
    • Tenant-to-tenant migrations
    • GCC and GCCH tenant deployments
  • Develop migration runbooks and cutover plans
  • Troubleshoot migration issues and lead remediation efforts
Endpoint & Device Management
  • Deploy and administer Microsoft Intune
  • Configure Autopilot provisioning and enrollment
  • Create device configuration profiles and compliance policies
  • Manage mobile device management (MDM) and endpoint security
  • Support hybrid and cloud-native device management strategies
