Microsoft 365 Copilot & AI Platform Administrator

Join an enterprise IT team responsible for building a secure, scalable approach to Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI. This role will initially serve as the primary technical owner for Copilot administration, governance, security, adoption, and business enablement.

What You'll Do
  • Administer Microsoft 365 Copilot and related AI platforms, including licensing, access, configuration, monitoring, and support.
  • Establish AI governance, security, and compliance controls using Microsoft Purview, DLP, Sensitivity Labels, Information Protection, and Conditional Access.
  • Improve Microsoft 365 data readiness, permissions, content governance, and SharePoint practices.
  • Identify and remediate overexposed or improperly shared content.
  • Develop Copilot training, prompt guidance, workshops, and adoption programs.
  • Identify AI use cases, lead POCs/pilots, and measure adoption, productivity, and business value.
  • Evaluate new AI capabilities and coordinate with Microsoft, technology partners, and internal stakeholders.

What We're Looking For
  • 3-7+ years administering Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Strong experience with Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Purview.
  • Experience with PowerShell, security/compliance controls, data governance, and enterprise SaaS administration.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across IT, Security, Legal, HR, Compliance, and business teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.

Nice to Have
  • Microsoft 365 Copilot administration and AI governance experience.
  • Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, Azure OpenAI, prompt engineering, or analytics experience.
  • Experience with Agile implementations in highly regulated environments, particularly manufacturing.
