Job Summary**
The Manager, Manufacturing Engineer will lead a team of manufacturing engineers to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and ensure product quality for Hyve Solutions Corporation. This role involves overseeing the entire manufacturing engineering lifecycle, from design validation to production support and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibilities**
* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of manufacturing engineers, fostering their professional development and ensuring project deliverables are met.
* Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment, and layouts to maximize productivity and reduce costs.
* Collaborate with R&D, NPI, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth product launches and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) principles are integrated.
* Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
* Oversee the creation and maintenance of manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and control plans.
* Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing defects and implement robust solutions to prevent recurrence.
* Manage capital equipment procurement, installation, and qualification processes.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
* Present manufacturing engineering project updates and performance reports to senior management.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
* 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
* Proven experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in server, storage, or related electronics industries.
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including assembly, test, and quality control.
* Proficiency in Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies. Black Belt certification is a plus.
* Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Project management experience is highly desirable.
