Full Job Description
How will you fit in the big picture?

The Manager, Marketing Intelligence position plays a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across Hershey's marketing organization. This role owns organic social and creative analytics strategy and execution, delivering consumer, category, competitive, and campaign performance insights for assigned brands. The position serves as the analytics lead for brand teams, driving measurement strategy, reporting, learning agendas, and optimization efforts across paid, owned, earned, and shared (POES) channels.

Partnering closely with Brand Marketing, Media, Finance, and agency partners, this role translates complex marketing data into actionable insights that improve business performance and marketing effectiveness.

What will you do?

Frame Complex Analytical Projects
  • Develop measurement plans, learning agendas, and test-and-learn strategies that address key business questions.
  • Define analytical approaches and success metrics to evaluate campaign, brand, and media performance.
  • Lead marketing effectiveness initiatives including brand lift studies, sales lift studies, matched market testing, and MMM analysis.


Lead Analysis Execution
  • Own organic social and creative analytics strategy, reporting, and insights for assigned brands.
  • Serve as Brand Pod Analytics Lead, overseeing reporting and analysis across multiple marketing measurement initiatives.
  • Partner with agency analytics teams to prioritize requests, manage timelines, and ensure delivery of high-quality outputs.
  • Support the development and maintenance of dashboards, recurring reports, and performance measurement tools.


Synthesize and Communicate Insights
  • Translate complex marketing data into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
  • Lead business reviews three times annually, summarizing performance, key learnings, and future opportunities.
  • Present executive-ready analyses and tell compelling stories through data visualization and insight development.


Build Analytical Capability
  • Promote data-driven decision-making through best practices, measurement frameworks, and standardized reporting.
  • Support cross-functional teams by providing analytical guidance and sharing key learnings across brands and initiatives.
  • Contribute to the evolution of marketing analytics capabilities, tools, and methodologies.


Partner with Business Stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Media, Finance, and agency partners to align analytics priorities with business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary analytics point of contact for assigned brands.
  • Support campaign optimization and strategic decision-making through timely, actionable insights.


Minimum Education & Requirements

Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, marketing measurement, or a related field. This aligns with Hershey's Manager-level experience guidelines.
  • Experience in a CPG, agency, or fast-paced consumer products environment preferred.
  • Experience analyzing digital marketing performance and media effectiveness.
  • Experience creating executive-level presentations and communicating insights through data storytelling.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional business stakeholders and external agency teams.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with media metrics, marketing KPIs, and digital performance platforms such as Google Analytics, Meta Ads, DSPs, and related marketing technology solutions.
  • Experience with marketing mix modeling (MMM), brand lift studies, sales lift studies, and test-and-learn methodologies.
  • Familiarity with organic social analytics and social listening platforms.
  • Proficiency with Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, and project management skills.
  • AI tool familiarity is a plus.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $113,120 to $141,400 per year. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of job-related factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skill set, education, and training.
