Full Job Description
Develops and implements long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues, production location decisions, etc. in support of businessgrowth. Supports business execution of new programs and initiatives thatinclude promotional activities, forecast and coordination for key events, andnew product launches. Monitors key performance indicators, analyzes performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness ofsupply chain initiatives.
Required Skills and Education
3 Typically a Bachelors degree and 10 years of experience. Work experience considered in lieu of formal education.
3 Robust understanding of manufacturing value stream in high complexity, low volume production.
3 First-hand experience in direct procurement in high compliance environments.
3 Demonstrated success in leveraging strategic sourcing and commodity strategy to achieve cost, schedule, and quality improvement.
3 Analytical, data-driven problem solving. Should possess the ability to understand core data structures and how they can be leveraged to improve business outcomes.
3 Familiarity with structured process improvement paradigm and facilitation (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, RCCA, etc)
3 Excellent communication skills, including the ability to tailor messaging to audiences ranging from individual team members to executive stakeholders
Preferred Skills and Education
3 Experience in defense contracting environment.
3 Familiarity with Oracle R12 ERP / Oracle BI.
3 Hands-On Experience in Supply Chain Analytics.
