Job Description

SAIC is seeking a Senior Principal Logistics professional to support Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC PAC) Shore Networks Branch Integrated Logistics Support operations in San Diego, CA. This role serves as a senior principal individual contributor responsible for end-to-end logistics lifecycle management across multiple Naval Enterprise Network (NEN) programs supporting DoD shore installations worldwide.

The ideal candidate brings deep DoD logistics expertise, a strong understanding of Navy supply chain and procurement processes, and demonstrated experience managing Operational Materials & Supplies (OM&S) accountability across complex multi-program environments. This position requires direct engagement with government program managers, contracting officers, and integrated product teams (IPTs) to ensure seamless logistics execution in support of the warfighter.

This role operates with significant independence, managing logistics support across CONUS and OCONUS sites while coordinating with multiple. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter capable of managing competing priorities across multiple programs simultaneously while serving as a subject matter expert and organizational spokesperson on logistics matters.

Target Salary Range: $116,900 - $194,800 | $56.20 - $93.65/hr

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior principal-level logistical oversight for Naval Enterprise Networks (NEN) programs including Shore Networks Branch OM&S accountability across CONUS and OCONUS sites
  • Manage and coordinate logistics support staff, tracking program logistics support, storage, shipping expenditures, and funding availability
  • Brief program logistics status directly to IPT Lead and Assistant Program Manager (APM)
  • Serve as senior logistics subject matter expert and consultant on NEN labor and procurement hardware contract statements of work and requirements
  • Identify annual installation hardware sparing and provisioning requirements for NEN and PEO Digital programs
  • Facilitate obligation of funds and execution of procurement for annual HQ funded program spares
  • Oversee materials movement and delivery schedules in accordance with project installation planning
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving of materials from CONUS and OCONUS sites
  • Create, review, and maintain logistics documentation
  • Originate program procurement documentation for contracting officers across multiple Navy programs
  • Support upgrade and technical refresh of shore installations; provide logistics documentation, procurement of network devices and spares, and configuration control of site baselines
  • Conduct obsolescence reporting for program equipment and manage warehouse storage spaces

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) environments
  • Familiarity with Tier IV hardware replacement and RMA coordination processes
  • Demonstrated experience driving process improvement and workflow development in complex logistics environments
  • Experience serving as a senior consultant to management on logistics policies, plans, and program objectives
