Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management, or 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Mechanical (HVAC/Plumbing) and/or Electrical Preconstruction, preferably across all MEP trades.
• Strong knowledge of construction principles and practices required.
• Proven experience estimating complex mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with estimating software such as MS Excel, On-Screen Take-Off, Bluebeam Studio, and others preferred.
• Experience managing subcontractors and understanding of subcontracts and self-performed work.
• Strong communication skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review bid documents, ensuring timely submission of bids and estimates.
• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs for accurate project estimates.
• Assist in developing execution plans and win strategies for bidding.
• Create thorough and well-organized estimates with comprehensive details.
• Compile proposals with necessary bid forms and supporting documentation.
• Solicit and manage subcontractors and vendors during preconstruction phases.
• Engage in peer bid and contract reviews to ensure compliance with proposals.
