GENERAL SUMMARYThe Membership Program Manager leads initiatives that support membership growth, engagement, and retention, and key member acquisition pathways. This role oversees multiple membership programs and projects, ensuring effective planning, execution, and alignment with national membership priorities. Working collaboratively across departments, the Membership Program Manager uses data-driven strategies to strengthen member engagement, support local leadership efforts, and enhance overall membership experience.
Membership Programs & Action Plans- Develop key membership programs in alignment with membership value proposition
- Execute membership action plans aligned with organizational growth priorities.
- Manage membership-related projects and ensure timelines and milestones are met.
- Track key performance metrics including acquisition, retention, engagement, and revenue.
- Identify process improvements that simplify the member experience and support participation.
Membership Growth & Engagement- Support targeted recruitment initiatives to attract new members.
- Partner with Marketing and Sales to communicate ENA's member value and benefits.
- Improve onboarding and early engagement to strengthen new member retention.
- Support referral programs, promotions, and campaigns that expand membership pathways.
Membership Lead for Councils - Serve as liaison to ENA Council Membership Chairs, aligning local membership efforts with national growth priorities.
- Develop recruitment and engagement resources to support council membership leaders.
- Monitor membership data, renewal trends, and participation metrics to identify growth opportunities.
- Implement strategies to support council membership leaders to strengthen retention.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Project Leadership: Manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines and milestones are met. Coordinate resources, manage timelines, and adjust plans as needed to achieve project goals.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze program data and metrics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement. Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to improve program outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including leadership, vendors, and subject matter experts (SMEs), to ensure program objectives are aligned and executed effectively.
- Program Delivery: Oversee the execution of key program activities such as promotions, member programs, webinars, events, and training sessions, ensuring successful implementation.
- Budget & Resource Management: Work within the program budget to allocate resources effectively. Monitor expenses and ensure cost-efficiency while achieving program goals. Manages program-specific budgets and resource plans; collaborates with finance and internal teams to track expenditures, support grant or funding compliance, and ensure efficient use of resources to deliver member value and mission-driven outcomes.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to optimize program efficiency and effectiveness.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, summarizing program progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Membership team and other departments to manage tasks and ensure smooth execution of program activities.
- Contributes to the ENA workplace culture that is consistent with the association's culture statement and emphasizes the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
- Displays a high level of accountability, taking responsibility for individual actions and the impact on the organization. Views oneself as a reflection of the organization by following through on commitments and accepting ownership.
- Performs additional related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONSRequired:
- Bachelor's degree in business management or related field.
- 5-7 years' experience in program and/or project management or related roles.
- 5-7 years' experience leading cross functional teams.
- Membership experience or experience managing programs or services with models similar to membership or subscription-based offerings - such as loyalty programs, affinity programs, or other recurring engagement models.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThis position is an exempt/salaried position. The targeted salary range is $85k-$90k annually. Compensation is determined based on a range of factors including education, experience, certifications or specialized training, skill level and operational needs.

WORKING CONDITIONS Majority of work is performed in a general office environment. Occasional travel may be required.
