Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of critical platform components, from front-end admin interfaces to back-end services and data models.

Full Job Description
Enterprise Platform is the team that brings Perplexity into the workplace. You'll build user-facing products that help organizations adopt products like Computer in practical, everyday tasks, and also guide organization admins to onboard and enable their teams to use Perplexity products effectively.

What you'll do
  • Build intelligent products across onboarding, membership management, organization insights, permissions, subscriptions, billing, and usage controls.
  • Build systems that help organizations manage Perplexity at scale, from first setup through expansion, making it easier for admins to onboard teams, configure features, manage usage, and understand spend.
  • Collaborate closely with PM, Design, Data Science, Sales, and Enterprise customers to turn complex administrative, billing, and governance needs into simple, reliable product experiences.
  • Own critical platform primitives end-to-end, from frontend admin flows to backend services, data models, billing integrations, observability, and production operations.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience; we're open to strong junior and mid-level candidates with a track record of shipping.
  • Backend / Full Stack engineering skills, with experience in designing and building scalable and reliable distributed systems, serving high traffic and a large user base.
  • Strong execution: you can take ambiguous product needs, break them down, and ship durable systems with clear customer impact.
  • Experience building product or platform features that require careful data modeling, state management, backend correctness, and high-quality user experience.
  • Strong product judgment; you can make complex admin, billing, and permissions workflows feel simple and intuitive.
  • Self-motivated with strong ownership instincts; you identify problems, propose solutions, and drive improvements without waiting for perfect specs.
  • Genuine interest in AI products and willingness to learn quickly.
Nice to have
  • Experience building enterprise SaaS products, admin consoles, membership systems, RBAC/permissions, or organization management features.
