OverviewWho we're looking forToyota's People & Property Services Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Media Operations Manager.
The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the strategic planning and daily operations for internal video production (pre through post-production) as well as webcast meetings across the portfolio.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Corporate Shared Services, the person in this role will support the People & Property Services department's objective to provide high quality, innovative, cost-effective services that meet Toyota's values and principles.
What you'll be doing - Lead and develop six internal technical team members to deliver successful media projects by leveraging team strengths, thoughtfully assigning work (500 annual projects), and managing workloads effectively.
- Manage outsourced supplier performance through contract and KPI management, ongoing relationship building, and clear, consistent communication.
- Maintain regular and effective communication with customers and other key stakeholders to ensure expectations are aligned and issues are addressed proactively.
- Ensure the right equipment, software, and training are in place through forward-looking planning, industry benchmarking, and effective budget management totaling $7M.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement to maintain operational excellence and build executive support through compelling business cases as needed.
What you bring - Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Self-driven, proactive and experienced people-leader who works independently, takes ownership, and supports company initiatives with minimal guidance.
- Strong ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to inform strategy and drive process improvements.
- A continuous learning mindset and enthusiasm for taking on new challenges.
- Excellent planning, organization, time management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external vendors.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop and present strategies to senior leadership.
- Demonstrated experience in video production.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe Creative Suite.
Added bonus if you have - Experience with project management software, such as Monday.com.
- Experience in developing and managing the deliverables of an annual strategy for senior leadership that includes industry insight, vendor data, as well as the upcoming priorities.
- Experience with vendor requests for information and proposals, service provider evaluation, and contract review.
- Strong budgeting, accrual, and forecasting skills.
- Experience with SAP/Ariba.
- Familiarity with Toyota Way guiding principles and Toyota-specific training.
