Full Job Description
As a Mechanical Installation Supervisor, you will lead mechanical installation projects at customer sites across North America. The Mechanical Installation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing installation crews, coordinating work assignments, ensuring high-quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards, and completing projects on time and within budget. This hands-on leadership role requires planning, team guidance, troubleshooting, and close collaboration with project management to deliver successful mechanical system installations.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $88,500 - $118,00 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You WillDoin This Role: 

  • Have the skill to manage a crew of 25+ installers.

  • Must conduct daily and weekly toolbox talks.

  • Must conduct safety stand downs when necessary.

  • Mustensure all safety procedures are followed on the project

  • Responsible for Time and Time approvals in ISM and Passport

  • Must haveExtensive knowledge in conveyor system layout,componentpre-assembly, run in and detailing of equipment, ordering materials/VMIas well as collaborating withIM9;son purchases, work with PMM for needs of project, oversee area handoff to Pre-commissioning.

  • Work closely with Resource Team Leads to help evaluate, train, or discipline resources

  • Must havegoodcomputer experience,emailing, spreadsheet input and report input.

  • Responsible for ToolWatch and Tool & Asset inventor

  • MustProvide jobsite installationleadershipwith the goal of completing assigned tasked with focus on quality and within planned hours and budget.

  • MustrepresentDematic professionally when interacting with other internal Dematic teams and customer

  • Must take initiative, be task andresults oriented.

  • Must Have Ability to motivate and direct others in an effective and professional manner.

  • Must have flexibility to work in all regions of the U.S.

  • Responsible for performing Gensuite Safety Audits 6 BBS, Housekeeping, Safety

What We are Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading installation teams and/or maintaining conveyor or material handling equipment

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft applications

  • Travel 100% to customer sites across the United States, using your personal vehicle.

  • Valid drivers license required

  • Coordinate daily work activities, assigning tasks and supervise daily progress

  • Conduct daily Tool Box talks, maintain safety documentation as well as Gensuite audits and ensure compliance with safety laws, site policies and company standards. Will need to acquire OSHA 30 certification upon hire.

  • Ability to lead large groups of teams with a diverse set of backgrounds and capabilities

  • Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
