Description:Liberty Mechanical is seeking an experienced
Mechanical Project Manager to lead mechanical construction projects from kickoff through closeout. This role is responsible for planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating all aspects of projects involving
HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical systems.
The ideal candidate will work closely with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, customers, and internal leadership to ensure projects are completed
safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents and quality standards.

What You'll Do: - Manage mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through completion
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, forecasting, and cost control
- Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project scope
- Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, vendors, and customers
- Track labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor performance
- Manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, change orders, purchase orders, and closeout documents
- Monitor project progress and address issues that may impact schedule, cost, or quality
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and applicable codes
- Maintain strong communication with clients, project teams, and internal departments
- Support billing, job costing, and reporting throughout the life of the project
What You'll Bring: - 3-5+ years of project management experience in mechanical construction, HVAC, plumbing, or related trades
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction processes, and project coordination
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contract documents
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and change orders
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Office, and construction documentation tools
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in commercial construction
- Background in HVAC, plumbing, piping, or mechanical contracting
- Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
- Experience with Estimating, ERP, Procore, Bluebeam, Viewpoint, or similar platforms
Work Environment: - Combination of office and jobsite work
- May require travel to project locations as needed
- Fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
