Overview:Join Xerox as an Engineer I, Mechanical Engineering, where you will support the design, development, validation, and lifecycle management of advanced printing systems across our print engine portfolio. This role offers hands-on involvement with electro-mechanical systems and materials technologies while collaborating with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams. You will contribute to innovative solutions that improve product performance, reliability, and quality.
What You Will Do:- Support the design and development of new and existing mechanical systems and components
- Conduct structured experiments and testing to evaluate system performance and material interactions
- Analyze field data and subsystem performance to identify root causes and corrective actions
- Support technical investigations, escalations, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation including specifications, test plans, and technical reports
What You Need to Succeed:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and materials behavior
- Hands-on experience with testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and laboratory instrumentation
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical findings clearly and effectively
