  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and DOE personnel to ensure project quality and timelines
  • Conduct regular site visits to locations in Louisiana and Texas

Job Description
  • Provide A/E mechanical engineering services for the Department of Energy (DOE) Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR).
  • Lead mechanical design for oil & gas projects, including pumps, compressors, piping, valves, heat exchangers, and pressure vessels.
  • Prepare and review drawings, calculations, specifications, RFIs, and contractor submittals.
  • Perform piping, pump, pipe stress, control valve, and relief device calculations.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and DOE personnel to maintain quality, schedule, safety, and budget.
  • Conduct site visits to SPR locations in Louisiana and Texas several times per year.

Requirements
  • Master's + 10 years or Bachelor's + 15 years in Mechanical Engineering/oil & gas.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Oil & gas engineering/design experience preferred.
  • Rotating equipment experience required.
