Job Description

We're looking for an experienced NPI Lead Mechanical Engineer to drive the development of next-generation thermal management products - including liquid cooling systems, chillers, air handling units, and precision cooling (CRAC) units. You'll own the mechanical design from prototype through pilot run, collaborating with a world-class engineering team to deliver products that keep the world's most critical infrastructure running.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end mechanical design and development for new thermal products through all NPDI gate phases
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges, optimizing designs for manufacturability, cost, and quality
  • Drive prototype builds, pilot runs, and testing for thermal systems including component selection and sizing (pumps, heat exchangers, control valves, piping)
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams across regions, partnering with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and Controls Engineering
  • Create and review critical documentation including CAD drawings, FMEA/DFA/DFM/DFX specs, and Bills of Material
  • Partner with Engineering Leadership to ensure product development meets strategic business objectives

Qualifications:
