An exciting opportunity awaits a Mechanical Engineer ready to take ownership of impactful work across some of Canada's most future-forward engineering projects. In this role, you'll contribute to transportation building projects while working with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and delivering innovative mechanical solutions.
Your Impact
  • Contribute to the design and development of mechanical systems for transportation building projects
  • Develop plans, layouts, and preliminary cost estimates to support project delivery and client objectives
  • Design building systems including HVAC, hydronic heating and cooling, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems
  • Collaborate with project managers, senior engineers, designers, and 3D modellers to deliver coordinated, permit-ready, and tender-ready designs
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality, timelines, and technical standards
  • Apply industry codes, standards, and best practices to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient engineering solutions
  • Support sustainable and innovative approaches that enhance building performance and environmental outcomes
The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with P.Eng. registration (PEO or eligible for registration in Canada)
  • 5+ years of experience designing mechanical systems for transportation building projects
  • Strong technical expertise in HVAC, hydronic systems, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems
  • Knowledge of codes and standards, including OBC, ASHRAE, ASPE, NFPA, SMACNA, CSA, and AREMA

Compensation

BC, AB, SK, NWT & NT: $89,800 - $118,900
MB & ON: $81,900 - $112,800
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $81,100 - $107,700
