Your RoleAs a Mechanical Engineer in our Forensics Practice, you will evaluate HVAC, plumbing, and other building mechanical systems to determine causes of failure or underperformance. You'll work on technical investigations, root-cause analyses, remediation design, and litigation support, producing clear and defensible technical findings. With support from your team, you will work on projects in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, ideal for engineers eager to grow their technical and creative skills.
What You'll Do - Conduct forensic analysis of HVAC and mechanical systems for damaged or distressed facilities.
- Prepare clear, detailed reports and visual documentation for technical and legal audiences.
- Participate in site inspections and field investigations, including evidence collection.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and legal teams to deliver accurate findings.

What You'll Bring - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's or PhD preferred.
- Familiarity with HVAC design principles and forensic investigation techniques.
- Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine eagerness to learn, ask questions, and grow through feedback.
- A detail-oriented approach with the ability to apply fundamental engineering concepts and check your work with care and curiosity.
