Description
  • Preparing designing specifying, analyses and recommending for presentation and approval
  • Has technical responsibility for planning, organizing and conducting technical projects orphases of projects involving design and development of new or improved product and/or processes
  • Investigating solution to product and/or process problems
  • Consolidating results of mechanical design elements for assigned projects
  • Coordinating the efforts of drafters/designers, engineering technical, and machine shoppersonnel as required by assigned projects
  • Conducting independent technical investigations involving the origination or modification ofmaterial, component or process specifications and requirements
  • May provide recommendations and assign work to technical drawing staff

Requirements
  • This job requires a minimum of a bachelor27s degree in engineering and five or more years ofwork related experience.
  • Performing work in this job27s occupational field requires the application of complex, technicalprofessional disciplines requiring a four-year degree or equivalent and the extensive, applied use of related concepts, practices and methods.
