What Drives Success

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to lead the design, development, and validation of HVAC systems and components, including evaporator coils and air handlers. This role is a senior-level individual contributor responsible for driving technical solutions, supporting product strategy, and collaborating across engineering, product management, manufacturing, and test teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design and development of mechanical systems and components from concept through production
  • Own subsystem or product-level engineering execution, including CAD models, drawings, and specifications

What We Are Looking For

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 5-8+ years of relevant engineering experience
  • Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and airflow systems
  • Experience with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, or similar)
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead design and development efforts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


Preferred

  • HVAC system design experience (coils, air handlers, or similar equipment)
  • Familiarity with AHRI, DOE, or other regulatory standards
  • Experience working in cross-functional product development environments
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes (sheet metal, assembly, heat exchangers)


What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $97,000 - $127,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
