Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Level I: Estimated annual base pay: $65,000 (minimum) - $78,000 (midpoint) - $84,000 (maximum)
Level II: Estimated annual base pay: $77,000 (Minimum) - $100,000 (Midpoint) - $123,000 (Maximum)

Level I: Key Responsibilities:- Support the Actuator Specialty Valve (ASV) and Integrated Support Team (IST).
- Works assigned tasks to meet schedule and may coordinate details with other departments.
- Recognizes problems which are beyond capabilities and is learning from the experts in the area.
- Learns the steps involved to incorporate process improvements.
- Performs routine functions which require application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks.
- May perform small component tests to support more senior engineers.
Key Skills:- Effective written and verbal communication skills; learning technical writing skills (procedures, reports, etc.).
- Basic skills in problem solving and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of organizational structure and flow of information in the company. Recognizes problems which are beyond capabilities and seeks out appropriate experts and tools.
- Basic ability to understand and interpret industry and Woodward technical standards including quality system standards and PLC process
- Fundamental knowledge of commercial and in-house analytical packages. Ability to run existing standard tools. (e.g. Excel, equation solver software, etc.)
- Basic understanding of component function and testing. Learning manufacturing processes, drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerances as well as shop standards and procedures.
- Effective time management skills.
- Team Leadership: Learns to work as part of a team and contribute to team goals. No leadership responsibilities at this stage.
- Process Improvements: Observes processes and suggests minor improvements under supervision.
- Application and Field Use Knowledge: Gains exposure to tested products and their basic applications in the field.

- Competent skills in problem solving and trouble-shooting.
- Ability to effectively operate in the project team environment and communicate with customers. May direct or lead work of technicians, detailers and designers.
- Basic ability to understand and interpret industry and Woodward technical standards including quality system standards and PLC process
- Basic use and understanding of FEA tools, basic use of DFSS tools and methodologies; Basic knowledge of Engineering quality systems (PLC, engineering change, configuration management). Assists with the development of department and organization procedures.
- Basic understanding of component function and testing. Learning manufacturing processes, drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerances as well as shop standards and procedures
- Effective time management skills.
Other Qualifications:- 4 Year Bachelors BS degree+ 1 Year of experience or MS
- International - Bachelors BS/University degree equivalent by Country AND 1 year of experience or Masters
