About the Role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop advanced humanoid robots. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mechanical design, system integration, and GD&T based on ASME Y14.5, along with experience in optimizing robotic systems for performance and manufacturability.

What You'll Do
  • Develop components for humanoid robots (e.g., frames, actuators, joints) using CAD software, applying GD&T standards (ASME Y14.5) to ensure precision and manufacturability.
  • Design robotic linkages and mechanisms with a focus on efficient motion and performance optimization.
  • Choose materials and manufacturing methods that balance strength, weight, and cost, ensuring feasibility and reliability.
  • Lead the prototyping phase, utilizing tools like 3D printing and CNC machining to validate designs.
  • Work with electrical engineers and software developers to integrate mechanical components into robotic systems.
  • Ensure designs meet safety standards, conducting risk assessments and applying necessary safety features.
  • Perform mechanical testing to verify design performance and durability.
  • Produce detailed technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and BOMs, adhering to GD&T principles.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
