Capgemini is seeking a Business Analyst with experience in Master Data Management (MDM), data governance, and product master data processes. This role will support a Stibo STEP Product Master implementation by partnering with business stakeholders, data stewards, architects, and development teams to define requirements, improve governance, and deliver scalable master data solutions.
Role Summary
The Business Analyst will be responsible for requirements gathering, process analysis, data governance alignment, workflow definition, and support of testing and deployment activities. The ideal candidate brings experience translating business needs into functional requirements within MDM platform, preferably Stibo STEP, and has a strong understanding of product master data, stewardship, data quality, and governance processes.
Your Role:
- Support requirements workshops and document business, functional, and data requirements.
- Analyze current-state processes and define future-state product master data processes.
- Develop business requirements, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Support design of product creation, maintenance, approval, and retirement workflows.
- Work with business stakeholders to define data governance standards, stewardship processes, and data quality rules.
- Collaborate with architects and developers on STEP configuration, integrations, and migration requirements.
- Define source-to-target mappings and support data validation and reconciliation activities.
- Support SIT and UAT planning, defect triage, business validation, and go-live readiness.
- Create training materials, conduct knowledge transfer sessions, and support user adoption initiatives.
Technical Skills
- 4-8 years of Business Analysis experience with Master Data Management programs.
- Experience with Stibo STEP, Product MDM, PIM, or comparable MDM platforms.
- Strong understanding of data governance, stewardship, data quality, and master data lifecycle management.
- Experience documenting business requirements, process flows, user stories, and functional designs.
- Knowledge of product hierarchies, classifications, attributes, reference data, and workflow-driven governance.
- Experience supporting data migration, data mapping, validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Familiarity with enterprise integrations, APIs, ERP systems (JDE/SAP), PLM, analytics, and data platforms.
- Strong stakeholder communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience with MDM, data governance, or Stibo STEP certifications is preferred.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:$65,000 to $189,000.
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
