MC&A Inventory Program ManagerPosition OverviewThe MC&A Inventory Program Manager has responsibility to develop and manage the NFS Inventory Program to provide adequate, effective, and auditable systems to assure site inventory activities are properly planned, coordinated, and executed in accordance with NFS procedures to meet and exceed NRC and State of Tennessee regulatory requirements in compliance with the site Fundamental Nuclear Material Control Plan (FNMCP) and radioactive material license SNM-124, and associated State of TN licenses. The Inventory Program Manager will plan and coordinate all inventory activities for High-Enriched and Moderately Enriched Uranium, Low-Enriched Uranium, Source Material, Radioactive Sealed Sources, and Waste Water and other waste holding accounts. The Inventory Program Manager will be the primary point of contact with operations areas during inventory preparation and execution.

Your Day to Day as a MC&A Inventory Program Manager:1.) Develop and manage the MC&A Inventory Program to assure all site inventory activities are planned, coordinated, and implemented consistently and effectively across all business units (FMF, BPF, LAB, etc.).
2.) Prepare, revise, and maintain the various MC&A inventory procedures to ensure compliance with the HEU and LEU Fundamental Nuclear Material Control Plans, NRC and State of TN regulations.
3.) Initiate programs for continuous improvement in inventory performance to maintain and stregthen regulatory complance.
4.) Participate in coordination with regulatory agencies and inspectors, including the NRC on site observation of physical inventory.
5.) Coordinate a system of self-assessments, surveillances, and audits to assure the quality of the Inventory Program.
6.) Coordinate and lead in the development of employee training program applicable to inventory and other MC&A related topics. This includes training within the MC&A department and across the organization.
7.) Lead all inventory pre-list activities in preparation for inventory, and lead the physical inventory teams during list day activities.
8.) Coordinate inventory and MAA search activities with NFS Security to assure safe compliant execution.
9.) Coordinate inventory sampling activities and composites for operations to assure timely delivery and analysis by the NFS laboratory to meet the regulatory timelines.
Required Qualifications:
BS - Technical or Business Administrative Discipline OR in lieu of B. S. degree eight (8) years of relevant experience
With B. S. degree, over ten (10) years' revelant experience MC&A or nuclear producton operations.

BWXT Grade Level: 8.1
Pay: $86,450 - $136,000
The base salary range for this position in Tennessee (US-TN) at the start of employment is expected to be between $86,450 and $136,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,' unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
