Full Job Description
What We Are Looking For

This application development position resides within the Business Systems application team. The successful candidate will be working for one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America. The Business Systems application team develops and supports many custom solutions for approximately 84,000 miles of natural gas, gasoline, crude oil, and carbon dioxide (CO2) pipelines and over 150 terminals for storing and handling various chemicals and other products.

In the Enterprise Systems group, the candidate will support various third party applications (on premise as well as SaaS) for Shared Services business functions (e.g. Facilities, Corporate Communications, Legal, Procurement, etc.). The candidate will participate in project meetings, provide input to project plans, and provide status updates. Day-to-day tasks include working with internal teams as well as vendors, maintaining documentation, troubleshooting issues, coding, testing, and providing on-call support.

Role description:

Provides subject matter expertise in the requested application. Assists in implementing, upgrading, or optimizing specific technology. Utilizes professional expertise to perform analysis, project management and/or development activities with technology. Requires demonstrated subject matter expertise in the specified application.

What You Will Do

  • At least 2-5 years of experience in Configuration & Implementation and Support and Maintenance in IBM Maximo v7.x and MAS 9.
  • Experience in Application Designer, Database Configuration, Automation Scripts
  • Maximo Integration Framework
  • Experience in developing BIRT reports
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in software development life cycle.
  • Experience and understanding of Production support and performance engineering.
  • Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills.
  • Analytical skills


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Manage Maximo EAM System administration and configuration modules; workflow development and administration.
  • Serve as primary contact for Maximo EAM System Users and IT support.
  • Assist in adding, modifying and granting access to Maximo EAM System.
  • Assist with applying, testing and verifying fixes/patches to Maximo EAM System.
  • Support Maximo EAM System Upgrade Projects
  • Identify and communicate Maximo EAM System defects to vendor
  • Make modifications to Maximo EAM System screens using a screen editor on demand.
  • Archive and restore data; support and maintain Maximo EAM System reports; run queries and create ad hoc reports.
  • Monitor Maximo EAM System performance; troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
  • Serve as liaison between vendor and Maximo EAM System Users to resolve issues.
  • Support all Maximo environments, including testing, development, pre-prod, training and production.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required from an accredited institution.
