We are looking for a
Materials Supervisor to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies. This role will report to
Manager, Materials and Systems and based in
Newark, DE. This is a fully on-site, in office role.
Role and Responsibilities:- Assume ownership of all inventory counts for both new and refurbished materials in multiple locations.
- Ensure inventory accuracy within the ERP system and identify root causes for errors.
- Develop R&O strategy to streamline movement of refurbished materials internally and maximize visibility of material risks
- Ensure adequate inventory levels to minimize outages emphasizing re-usable materials.
- Actively educate cross-functional staff on inventory management best practices and enforce.
- Monitor and effectively maintain inventory management reports for R&O forecasting and financial planning.
- Implement and maintain proper item location discipline (5S).
- Oversee introduction of new, used, and non-standard materials into production environment.
- Monitor shrinkage and recommend ways to reduce lost and/or damaged materials.
- Identify excess and obsolete inventory and determine how to best remove it with Planning.
- Optimize warehouse layouts to improve material flow for refurbishment, kitting and shipping operations
Skills and Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3-5 years of related experience, with specific experience in non-standard Repair Programs
- General understanding of inventory principles and experience with manufacturing programs.
- Understand the flow of goods from raw material to finished goods.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment either in warehousing, manufacturing, or supply chain management.
- 2+ years in a leadership role preferred
- Computer systems knowledge including proficiency with MS Office programs
- Strong communication skills within diverse work group.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify and investigate inaccurate inventory counts.
- Detail oriented, organized person who is adamant about accuracy and process adherence.
- Confidence to uphold best practices within multiple warehouse locations.
- Focus on needs of others, which include cooperation with team members, helpfulness, responsiveness and service orientation.
- Ability to train other members of the staff to keep inventory accurate.
- Understanding of the Repair and Overhaul flow of material into the warehouse, onto the production floor and out to testing and final shipment (logistics oriented)
- Dependability, which includes reliability and conscientiousness.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changes quickly
Physical Requirements:- Ability to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours per shift
- Occasionally lift/carry up to 25-50 lbs
- Use hands and fingers to operate machinery controls and computers throughout the shift
- Visual acuity sufficient for product inspection and reading digital/printed materials
- Hearing ability to detect alarms and communicate effectively with staff
- Ability to perform essential tasks with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in required areas (safety glasses, safety-toed boots).

Salary Ranges:$74,600.00 - $107,400.00
