Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship is required for consideration.
  • Experience with SAP and/or MRP planning systems (preferred).
  • Familiarity with load and capacity planning as well as Bills of Materials (BOMs) (preferred).

  • Conduct WIP cycle counts and floor store counts to ensure material accuracy.
  • Maintain ERP systems with reliable data for effective supply chain management.
  • Manage deliveries and balance business decisions under ambiguous circumstances.

Job Title: Material Requirements Planning Controller (MRPC)-(Make Side)

Working Pattern: Full-time

Working location: Indianapolis, IN (9/80 onsite schedule)

As an Material Requirements Planning Controller (MRPC) for Rolls-Royce, you'll be responsible for planning and controlling schedules, maintaining raw material delivery plan, and coordinating with manufacturing operations to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials are timed to meet customer requirements

What you will be doing

With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to:
  • Working with manufacturing to create and implement a credible plan that meets customer requirements
  • Ensuring all raw materials available for production via system scheduling and by working closely with purchasing group
  • Working with SAP IM and WM
  • Follow WIP Cycle Count and floor store count process to maintain system accuracy of material ensuring timely transactions of any discrepancies
  • Maintaining ERP systems with robust and credible data that creates suitable supply elements that support the delivery of the customer demands/requirements
  • Managing deliveries, as well as making balanced business decisions under trying and ambiguous circumstances

Basic Requirements:
  • A Associates degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain or Operations with 4+ years experience in a supply chain or operations environment OR;
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain or Operations with 2+ years experience in a supply chain or operations environment OR;
  • A Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain or Operations with experience in a supply chain or operations environment OR;
  • In lieu of a degree, 6+ years experience in a supply chain or operations environment
  • In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US Citizen.


Preferred Requirements:
  • SAP and/or MRP Planning System experience
  • Familiarity with load and capacity planning and Bills of Materials (BOM's)
  • Union environment experience
