  • Manage shipping and receiving processes for non-standard items, including staging and ordering trailers.
  • Assist in shipping rack counts to support corporate logistics management teams.

Full Job Description
The Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of material handling operations, with a focus on the efficient and accurate movement, tracking, and management of parts and equipment within the facility. The role involves a mix of project management, purchasing, vendor coordination, and logistics support, ensuring that all material handling activities meet operational needs while supporting the MLM department.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:
  • High usage of SAP software including writing purchase requisitions, tracking approvals, tracking purchase orders, and creating goods receipts.
  • Thoroughly tracking major projects at WSP such as PIV leases, hydrogen fuel cell projects, and shipping rack reworks.
  • Being the main point of contact for on-site vendor support related to examples such as truck repair and equipment installation.
  • Working closely with the Truck Repair / Maintenance teams related to PIV part ordering and delivery.
  • Handling shipping & receiving of non-standard items which involves creating shipper requests, material / equipment staging, and ordering trailers.
  • Assisting with shipping rack counts within the facility as needed to support corporate MLM teams.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in a related technical discipline and 3 years of experience or 10 years' experience in the area of automated manufacturing systems integration and support
  • Must be fluent in the ability to read Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic drawings to understand system function(s)
  • Strong technical background in automated manufacturing electrical controls.
  • Must be able to interpret the following software or systems. PLC software, motion control, communication protocols E-net, and knowledge of PC based control and programming (structured text)
  • Must be able to size circuit protectors, wire & cable, sensors, motors, and systems mentioned above
  • Must be self-directed, ambitious and able to continually prioritize tasks based on business needs
  • Must be proficient in MS-Office
  • Must be proficient in PENTASAP
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills
  • English language competency required with good written and verbal communication skills
  • Willing to work any shift, overtime, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in engineering
