Opportunity Overview:We are looking for a
Material Controller who epitomizes operational excellence and has a strong attention to detail. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting Defense and Aerospace production by managing material flow and ensuring the accuracy of floor inventory. The Material Controller will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure materials are properly handled, tracked, and available for production. You will thrive in a collaborative environment and will be flexible and responsive to production demands.
In this role, you will:
- Manage materials on the production floor to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Maintain and update work orders and communicate with the stockroom to verify material availability.
- Work closely with buyers to determine material delivery schedules and ensure timely availability.
- Support production personnel by fulfilling material requests from stock.
- Handle all aspects of product shipments, including paperwork, packaging, and delivering materials to Shipping.
- Collaborate with suppliers to manage defective material returns (RMAs).

- Proven experience as a Material Controller or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle 11i or similar material management systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively across teams.
- Familiarity with production or manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Experience managing material flow in Defense or Aerospace industries is highly desirable.

U.S. Person required due to CMMC L2 enclave access requirements.Compensation:The base salary range for this role is $92,800-$148,400. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
