Opportunity Overview:

We are looking for a Material Controller who epitomizes operational excellence and has a strong attention to detail. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting Defense and Aerospace production by managing material flow and ensuring the accuracy of floor inventory. The Material Controller will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure materials are properly handled, tracked, and available for production. You will thrive in a collaborative environment and will be flexible and responsive to production demands.

In this role, you will:
  • Manage materials on the production floor to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain and update work orders and communicate with the stockroom to verify material availability.
  • Work closely with buyers to determine material delivery schedules and ensure timely availability.
  • Support production personnel by fulfilling material requests from stock.
  • Handle all aspects of product shipments, including paperwork, packaging, and delivering materials to Shipping.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to manage defective material returns (RMAs).

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is $92,800-$148,400. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
