Master Scheduler

We're growing and looking for a Master Scheduler to join our team!  As a member of the Curtiss-Wright Plant Information Management & Controls (PIMC) business unit, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Master Scheduler to join our dynamic team. As the mastermind behind the efficient management of our projects, you will play a critical role in driving the scheduling strategy for complex large-scale projects, all while ensuring timely completion and cost-effectiveness. Your ability to juggle complex schedules, navigate demanding deadlines, and collaborate effectively will be key to the success of our team.

Location: Idaho Falls, ID

Salary Information: $100,000 to $140,000 per year

Your Challenge:

  • The candidate must be experienced in developing and managing complex schedules, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.

  • Expert-level proficiency in MS Project, and/or Oracle Primavera (P6).

  • Experience with large-scale, long-run projects as the lead or senior scheduler.

  • Create a portfolio level master schedule and provide weekly reports based off the master schedule related to critical path dependencies, resource utilization, resource availability, schedule risks, and schedule conflicts to help management with site and resource planning.

  • Identify and communicate variances from the original plan and weekly baseline snapshots.

  • Performs in-depth analysis of project schedules, to include identifying and analyzing critical paths and potential risks and recommends mitigation strategies to ensure baseline key milestones are achieved.

  • Maintain the master schedule and process project change notices into MS Project live schedule regularly.

  • Assist with the facilitation of project review meetings, and project planning support as assigned and actively interact with project team members.

  • Facilitates schedule reviews and updates, ensuring that all team members are aligned and informed of changes. This includes the delivery of presentations and reports on schedules.

  • Assist and interact with team members to drive the continual improvement of schedule project controls metrics and other performance indicators.

What you Bring:

  • Due to the nature of work performed at this site, incumbents must be a U.S. Person.

  • Bachelors degree in engineering, supply chain management, automation or a computer related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 7 years of project scheduling experience

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex schedules and overcoming unforeseen challenges.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project required

  • Oracle Primavera P6 proficiency preferred

  • PMP, PMI-SP or AACE certification is strongly preferred.  Ability to obtain a PMP Certification within the first year of employment required.

  • Experience working with controls and instrumentation projects preferred.

  • Experience working with DOE or DOD is helpful.

  • Experience with Syteline ERP is a bonus.

  • Experience with MS Project Online and Enterprise Server environments a plus.
