Assured Airspace Access Systems (A3S) Scheduling Analyst

Position Description:

Position Summary: Provide program scheduler/scheduling support to an Army Aviation Acquisition Product Office in the form of creating, managing and evaluating product schedules across various APM Teams. Support all A3S products, product teams and the A3S management staff to standardize all product schedules and program structure charts.

Specific duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
• Support product office leadership to oversee all product Integrated Master Schedules for all assigned products.
• Prepare new schedules to increase the output for the Product Office.
• Analyzes activity plans and budgets to develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in alignment with programmatic and contractual requirements.
• Develops and manages an overall IMS for each product by correlating and integrating schedules from multiple sources, including Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Program/Product offices, and CDRL deliverables.
• Utilizes schedule data to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate issues and potential problems prior to product execution.
• Identifies and establishes detailed program schedules for all phases of development, including milestones, contracts, testing, integration, and fielding.
• Performs in-depth studies and critical path analysis to determine and recommend optimum program plans.
• Develops comprehensive program, project, and Work-Breakdown Schedules (WBS).
• Responsible for updating schedules per leadership direction.
• Maintain accurate records of schedules for the implementation of various Product Office strategies.
• Work with Project Office Headquarters Staff to synchronize and coordinate schedules.
• Assimilate information from numerous sources and provide schedule recommendations to leadership.
• Issue, review and track schedules for Product Office.
• Coordinate schedule development with other Project/Product Offices, other government agencies, and contractors to promote information exchange.
• Develop, write and staff schedules to officials/groups in the Project/Product Office
• Other requirements include program planning, scheduling, report, preparation, briefings, providing support to management.
• Interface on a daily basis with military and civilian personnel and other contractor personnel in a team environment.
• Create and manage numerous tiered schedules developed in in MS Project for each A3S product to clearly identify the critical path for forecasting and management activities.
• Schedules will provide all necessary information to properly conduct detailed resource and planning activities.

Qualifications:
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Project, Scheduler Inspector, and should have working knowledge of Milestone Professional to produce product schedules.
• Ability to determine if schedules are being followed, if they can be improved, and to determine the causes of production delays.
• Above average knowledge of Microsoft software, to include, but not limited to Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Outstanding communication, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple project schedules simultaneously, work effectively and well with others.
• Outstanding analytical skills.
• Army Acquisition experience preferred.
