We are currently seeking a Master Project Scheduler to join our team in Los Angeles, California (US-CA), United States (US).
Overview of job:We are currently seeking a Project Scheduler (Master Scheduler) to serve as part of a Program/Project Management Office (PMO) team ensuring project management rigor for a large-scale, multi-partner/multi-vendor effort. The Project Scheduler will work alongside other members of the PMO to communicate clear and consistent direction; provide transparency regarding progress and barriers to progress; effectively manage change; and achieve the necessary results.
Job Responsibilities Include:- Develops, updates, and manages the NTT DATA project schedule, conducting interviews and meetings with Key staff to refine the plan as the project progresses into new phases
- Directs Project Managers (trains as necessary) on process of managing own Workstream or Venue Schedule and integrates with NTT DATA's project schedule
- Integrates schedule with T-Mobile and Deloitte master schedules
- Tracks progress, dependencies, baselines, and schedule quality
- Provides weekly schedule analytics, reporting, and variance tracking for use in Status Report and to provide key information to the PMO Director, PMO Deputy Director and Project Director
- Lead Deliverables: Venue Rollout Schedule (VROS) for Test Events and Games
- Advise clients on appropriate course of action
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of own time/hours to project
Required Qualifications:- 8+ years of project management experience
- 8+ years of experience creating and managing project schedules and recommending improvements based on industry-proven good/best practices
- 5+ years of experience performing schedule integration, analysis and reporting
- 5+ years of experience using Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and SharePoint)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Undergraduate degree in relevant field or additional 4 years work experience
Preferred Skills:- Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Experience working in a multi-partner/multi-vendor project environment
- Experience with Telecom or other large infrastructure projects
- Experience working in the state of California
- Resides in California or the western U.S
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $103, 800 to $190, 800 Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. The candidate may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on personal and/or company performance.
