About the role

As a Master Production Scheduler, you will be responsible for creating, validating, and maintaining production plans for a defined group of assets to ensure excellent customer service while optimizing factory efficiency. You will collaborate closely with material planners and suppliers to secure raw material and packaging availability, maintaining optimal stock levels and supporting smooth operations. Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will ensure plans are realistic and aligned with constraints across manufacturing, procurement, quality, and logistics. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to improve supply processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance while balancing service levels and working capital.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and administer weekly and optimized production plans aligned with capacity, efficiency, and cost considerations.
  • Coordinate with customer service teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure production meets demand and materials are delivered on time.
  • Monitor and manage inventory, including planning stock builds, addressing aged or expiring stock, and driving inventory reduction initiatives.
  • Oversee production-related projects such as new product introductions and packaging/graphic changes.
  • Track performance and risks by producing data, managing KPIs (e.g., service levels, schedule adherence, stock holding), and identifying capacity or service issues.


The experience we're looking for

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Planning or Procurement, ideally within a fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), health or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Experience working within planning processes and systems.
  • Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and systems.
  • Experience working as part of a cross-functional or multifunctional team.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel required. SAP experience highly preferred.
  • This role is not currently offering VISA sponsorship or offering relocation assistance.

US salary ranges

USD $77,000.00 - $115,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law.
