Description

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Marketing Technology Systems Senior Specialist, who is the primary owner of day-to-day administration across the Marketing Technology (MarTech) stack. This role is responsible for keeping every MarTech platform running, every integration healthy, and every data flow accurate.

In this execution-first, technically demanding role, you'll be the person in the systems every day - configuring, monitoring, auditing, and fixing. Most platform administrators go deep in one system; this role goes deep across the connected stack, including Pardot, Salesforce, ABM tools, analytics, and the integration layer between them. The measure of success is not whether each tool runs correctly in isolation; it is whether data moves accurately and completely across all systems, and whether issues are caught and flagged before they become bigger problems. Join our team and make a difference!

Location - Hybrid in Austin, TX. In the office 3 days per week (Mon, Tues, & Thurs).

We are flexible on remote working from home, if you are located in the USA and reside in one of the following states - CT, FL, GA, *IL, KS, MA, ME, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OR, TX or VA. We have physical offices in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL, if you prefer a hybrid option.

What You'll be Doing

  • Platform administration

    • Manage day-to-day access and role-based permissions, for Marketing, across all Marketing platforms; provision and deprovision users promptly & maintain an access log

    • Configure and maintain marketing stack: field mappings, object relationships, workflow logic, and automation settings

    • Monitor platform health daily: uptime, sync errors, API rate limits, workflow failures, and broken automations - defined response SLAs by severity level

    • Assist in managing vendor relationships for all stack tools

    • Review platform release notes on each vendor cycle; evaluate new features for adoption and brief the team on relevant changes before they roll out

  • Integration health/data flow (across the MarTech stack)

    • Own and maintain the integration map of MarTech systems: active connections between platforms, the direction of each flow, sync frequency, field mapping, data dictionary

    • Monitor integration layer daily - native connectors, iPaaS middleware, and custom API connections - including error logs

    • Enforce data flow standards: field naming conventions, ID resolution logic, deduplication rules, and sync cadence for every system pairing

    • Proactively audit broken syncs, silent failures, and data discrepancies between systems

    • Evaluate all proposed new tool integrations using a pre-defined checklist

  • Stack governance & tech debt

    • Maintain the definitive MarTech inventory

    • Contribute to quarterly stack audit: pull utilization data, flag underused licenses, identify redundant tools

    • Gate new tool procurement per pre-defined governance checklist

  • Attribution & tracking infrastructure

    • Maintain the UTM taxonomy: maintain the naming convention documentation, enforce it across campaigns and vendors, and audit UTM compliance on a monthly cadence

    • Manage tracking tag configuration across the website and landing pages

    • Partner with the analytics team to resolve data quality issues surfacing in attribution reporting

  • Testing & Quality Assurance

    • Maintain and execute a pre-deployment QA checklist for all platform changes

    • Own regression testing after platform updates or vendor-released changes

    • Conduct end-to-end testing of new integrations and automation workflows prior to launch

  • AI-assisted operations & tooling

    • Use AI tools (e.g., LLM assistants or features within the stack) to accelerate day-to-day operational tasks; design and maintain lightweight AI-assisted workflows where they reduce manual effort or improve consistency

  • Other duties as needed

  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or equivalent) to meaningfully accelerate operational work

  • Additional technology experience with content enablement platform (Highspot), webinar technology (BrightTalk, or Zoom events), event technology (Bizzabo or Swoogo), and/or web analytics (Google Analytics or Snowplow)
