Job DescriptionSUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking a
Marketing Specialist in our
Power Delivery Group to provide support with development and execution of proposals, presentations, and other marketing deliverables, while contributing to the overall marketing and communications efforts for the operating group.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Support Brand Awareness and Content Creation by supporting marketing leadership in crafting compelling storytelling in various mediums and formats for customer-facing communications
- Create ongoing content aligned with the strategic marketing plan (core messaging, email, web, video, etc.)
- Assemble, write, and edit marketing and communications collateral supporting sales, business development, and project pursuit (e.g., presentations, brochures, articles, news releases, electronic/print mailings, social media posts)
- Prepare proposal materials, including gathering, verifying, and formatting proposal information and ensure that various aspects of proposals (technical scope, project experience, resumes, etc.) and other marketing materials are accurate and delivered in a timely manner
- Organize and plan activities for trade shows, conferences, and speaking opportunities including groundbreaking, topping off, ribbon cutting and operating group annual meeting planning
- Assist with driving engagement at all levels of the Operating Group with both on and off-site team members including communications, events, and other tasks as assigned that create value for our team members
- Serve as contributor to Marketing team in learning systems (Salesforce.com, market research platform) and creating ongoing graphical representations of data
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of three years of experience in communications, marketing or sales enablement including content creation in a business setting
- Prior experience in a B2B services industry preferred
- Detail-oriented and able to organize and prioritize multiple assignments within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Good understanding of social media and digital mediums
- Proven execution of internal communications campaigns and results associated
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop preferred
- Excellent creative, organizational, and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to be flexible as needed
- Excellent graphic sensitivity and judgment

The base pay range for this role is $68,700 MIN - $92,800 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.
