Job PurposeThe Enterprise Customer Communications Management (ECCM) team ensures that email marketing campaign strategies are aligned with business goals, objectives, and processes. The goal is to use database insights to guide customer communications, create greater value, and deliver an exceptional ownership experience. The ECCM Marketing Strategist collaborates with Marketing, Media, Digital Marketing, Brand, Creative Services, CDP, Analytics, DSD, Corporate Communications, agency partners, and vendors who are key stakeholders in the email campaign strategy and development process. This position provides strategic direction and approves marketing creative and email templates developed for the production environment. The role is responsible for understanding, developing, and executing the campaign marketing process, including campaign approval, planning, design, template design, testing, execution, offer management, promotion history, customer touchpoints, response tracking, and reporting. The position also utilizes Jira and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Key Accountabilities • Lead project management of entire campaigns, ensuring alignment, timely execution, and continuous adaptation, including agency coordination and legal/stakeholder feedback coordination.
• Collaborate with Brand and Digital Marketing teams to understand model and brand strategies and prioritize product features and benefits for communication.
• Provide strategic creative direction and actionable feedback to internal teams and agency partners to ensure campaign concepts, messaging, and execution align with business priorities, campaign objectives, brand standards, and customer insights.
• Partner with the Assistant Manager to develop comprehensive test-and-learn campaigns and plans.
• Support the Assistant Manager with establishing measurement goals and testing plans.
• Create marketing communication documents to support consistent and effective product messaging.
• Manage Jira tickets and regularly provide campaign development and status updates.
• Conduct measurement and post-campaign reporting.
• Actively manage and refine ongoing campaigns using data and insights to optimize performance, enhance relevance, and maximize impact.
• Support email process optimization to improve the speed, scale, and engagement of the email marketing channel.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Minimum Education • B.A./B.S. degree in Communications or Business Administration.
Minimum Experience • 3+ years of experience in communications, project management/training, or marketing.
• Knowledge of email marketing, integrated marketing, and brand marketing.
Other Skills • Strong strategic communications and marketing acumen.
• Strong knowledge of database marketing and Email HTML.
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
