Job Title: Marketing Program Manager
Location: Richmond, Virginia; Salem, Virginia
Starting Compensation Range: $73,000 - $95,000 per year
What You Will Do: - Proactively pitch marketing ideas to program stakeholders that are data-driven and aimed at solving their business problems
- Serve as marketing liaison and SME for designated business leaders and/or Caterpillar partners to ensure marketing alignment with business objectives and goals
- Accountable for implementation of individual business unit marketing plans from start to finish in cooperation with other Marketing team members in order to deliver maximum MROI
- Own annual marketing planning process and make recommendations on strategic and tactical plans based on previous campaign and program performance for your business program
- Identify opportunities to incorporate new or improved tactics, promotions, and CTAs (Call To Action)
- Build and submit creative briefs to project management for accurate and efficient creation of marketing materials
- Develop/repurpose content targeted at specific segments that are aligned with relevant customer journeys to position Carter to provide maximum customer success
- Work closely with Marketing team members to ensure excellence/effectiveness in production of photography, video, and graphic design assets for various mediums, including print, web, email, and social media
- Participate in and represent Marketing in regular meetings (virtual and face-to-face)
- As needed, conduct interviews with customers and employees in a professional manner that elicits authentic, genuine content for repurposing in a variety of forms
- Define and measure leading and lagging metrics to support MROI and work with data team to provide actual results
- Maintain current knowledge of all Cat and Carter trademark regulations, voice and corporate image policies and procedures
- Work in cooperation with Marketing team to achieve Continuous Improvement goals and objectives
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What We're Looking For: - Minimum of three years' experience in a professional marketing environment or related field
- College degree preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent driving record
- Thorough understanding of foundational marketing processes and campaign development
- Strong leadership skills and a commitment to teamwork
- Strong Interpersonal skills: ability to instantly connect with a range of subjects and personality types (customer, technician, corporate); excellent customer satisfaction skills, with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships
- Strong PC skills and the ability to self-develop and adapt to changing technology
- Willingness to travel throughout Carter's service territory, including overnight stays
