Job Description

The Impact you will have in this role:

The Marketing & Communications team at DTCC sits at the intersection of brand strategy, and innovation, shaping how the firm shows up in the market and engages with key audiences. We develop and execute integrated campaigns, manage internal and external communications, and bring DTCC's story to life across digital, media, thought leadership, and events.

We are evolving and rethinking how work gets done, how impact is measured, and how teams collaborate. This role offers a front-row seat to that transformation, with the opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow in a fast-moving environment where ideas are valued and impact is visible.

The Marketing Operations team enables the Marketing & Communications (M&C) function to operate efficiently, manage resources effectively, and execute with rigor and accountability.

This role will support the day-to-day operations of M&C, with a focus on financial management, vendor coordination, intake processes, and operational governance. You will play a key role in ensuring that marketing investments are tracked accurately, workflows are executed consistently, and operational processes are well-managed and audit ready.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Budget Tracking
  • Support end-to-end budget tracking, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely financial submissions, including validation of data and identification of discrepancies prior to review cycles
  • Coordinate cross-team inputs to maintain alignment across forecasts, actuals, and commitments, while tracking spends and supporting clear documentation of variances and updates

Vendor Management, Procurement & Onboarding
  • Support end-to-end vendor management and procurement processes, including onboarding intake, documentation collection, coordination with Procurement/Legal, PO tracking, and maintaining accurate vendor records (spend, renewals, key documentation)
  • Maintain and continuously improve a centralized vendor governance framework, including a comprehensive tracker and documented onboarding process that provides visibility into vendor status, ownership, lifecycle stages, and key decision points (renewals, reassessments, and risks)

Operational Governance, Workflow & Excellence
  • Support and continuously improve end-to-end Marketing Operations processes, including intake, request tracking, and workflow coordination, ensuring work is complete, properly routed, and delivered on time
  • Maintain operational trackers and centralized repositories to provide visibility into requests, ownership, status, and documentation, while supporting standardized processes that improve efficiency and reduce rework
  • Support audit and compliance readiness by maintaining accurate, complete documentation across financial, vendor, and operational activities, and contributing to clearly defined workflows, controls, and governance practices that strengthen consistency and reduce risk

Reporting & Measurement
  • Maintain and evolve marketing performance dashboards and recurring reporting, in partnership with the Client Intelligence team, to ensure clear visibility into agreed KPIs (i.e., engagement, channel performance, pipeline influence, etc.) and consistent program reporting across the Chief Client Office.
  • Strengthen reporting integrity and scalability by validating data quality and consistency across outputs and supporting standardized templates, definitions, and documentation that improve results-tracking methodologies and enable confident decision-making.

**NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **

Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience in marketing operations, operations, digital marketing, or marketing-focused project management role
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Foundational understanding of marketing principles, channels, and tactics, campaign execution, and familiarity of common marketing terms and performance concepts

Talents Needed for Success:
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage financial data, documentation, and operational trackers accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize, re-prioritize, and manage multiple concurrent initiatives, timelines, and stakeholders effectively
  • Effective collaborator and communicator, comfortable working across cross-functional teams and levels of the organization to gather inputs, align priorities, and clearly communicate updates, risks, and timelines
  • Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented mindset, with strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently while leading through influence
  • Process-oriented with experience building, documenting, and improving workflows, systems, and operational processes to drive efficiency, scalability, and consistency
  • Data-informed and continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities to streamline workflows and implement process enhancements, automation, or technology-enabled solutions
  • Proficiency in Excel and tracking tools; experience managing budgets, vendors, invoices, and external partner relationships preferred
  • Demonstrated interest in emerging technologies, including AI and automation, with a willingness to apply new tools to enhance productivity and team effectiveness
