JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is open only to candidates who currently reside in one of the following approved locations:
Los Angeles, CA (West LA)
Job Summary
The Walmart MoneyCard is one of Green Dot's largest and most visible consumer programs. This role owns the end-to-end marketing operations behind it — from campaign planning and budget management to leading Hispanic marketing initiatives — and directly impacts revenue performance for a flagship retail partnership.
The ideal candidate is a sharp operator who thrives on cross-functional complexity, moves fast, and holds themselves accountable to results. This person brings advanced Spanish fluency and the cultural competency to shape authentic, resonant campaigns for Hispanic consumers — not just translate copy. They will report to the Director of Marketing and collaborate closely with consumer marketing, direct/lifecycle marketing, merchandising, supply chain, data analytics, compliance, and legal.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end marketing operations for the Walmart MoneyCard program, serving as the primary point of accountability for integrated campaign delivery, timelines, and quality.
- Lead Hispanic marketing initiatives — leveraging native or advanced Spanish fluency to review copy for cultural relevance, brief translation and creative agencies, and present to internal stakeholders in Spanish as needed.
- Drive the day-to-day campaign planning process: project kick-off, budget planning, vendor management, creative briefs, stakeholder approvals, and campaign performance tracking.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams — data and analytics, direct marketing, compliance, and legal — to define marketing objectives, align on requirements, and execute campaigns efficiently.
- Monitor campaign performance and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports with actionable insights and clear recommendations that tie back to revenue outcomes.
- Own project budgets and expenses; maintain ongoing tracking and reporting of ROI across all programs.
- Manage vendor relationships and agency partnerships (creative, website development, video production, Spanish-language translation), overseeing SLAs and resolving issues proactively.
- Maintain accurate documentation of marketing processes, workflows, data requirements, and technology configurations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of marketing experience with a focus on retail marketing, campaign management, digital marketing, and CRM platforms.
- Advanced Spanish proficiency — written and spoken — with the ability to review marketing copy, brief external agencies, and communicate with internal stakeholders in Spanish.
- Proven track record of successful project management, cross-functional collaboration, and process improvement in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to interpret data, measure the marketing mix, and drive ROI-focused decisions.
- Experience managing external agency relationships and vendor SLAs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Apps & Services, iProcurement, and Jira.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal direction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience marketing to Hispanic/Latino consumer segments, including cultural fluency in messaging and campaign strategy.
- Background in prepaid debit, fintech, or retail financial services.
- Familiarity with lifecycle and direct marketing programs.
**Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship**
