Position Overview

Our Strategic Operations group within the Single-Family Seller Engagement team is seeking an energetic, motivated and endlessly curious individual, looking to launch a communications career in financial services and the mortgage industry. The Associate II role provides a unique and exciting opportunity to support communications for both Single-Family policies and technology.

  • Delivering customized communications to help our customers do business with us.
  • Ensuring work products support a positive customer experience through clarity and transparency.
  • Building team knowledge and understanding of the Single-Family business and its mortgage solutions.
  • Providing team members with direct learning opportunities in communication planning- including content development, messaging strategy, as well as defining audience and segment opportunities.
  • Fostering an inclusive environment which promotes active engagement, intellectual curiosity and skill development to support timely and appropriate communications execution.


Your Impact:

  • Interact with subject matter experts and product owners for certain tools and policy topics to understand business needs and identify opportunities or challenges that can be supported with communication solutions.
  • Develop communications plans that will include tactics and messaging for internal and external audiences.
  • Write a variety of content formats including email, release notes, web copy, social media, talking points and FAQs, PowerPoint presentations
  • Work with cross-functional teams and manage the timely execution of internal and external communication tactics
  • Apply communications principles and concepts while utilizing Freddie Mac AI and ML-sanction applications to distill and transform complex information into consumable content.
  • With ample guidance, strive for optimization when developing communication solutions to support business needs


Qualifications:

Freddie Mac offers a comprehensive total rewards package to include competitive compensation and market-leading benefit programs. Information on these benefit programs is available on our Careers site.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $65,000 - $97,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
