Full Job Description
ROLE SUMMARY

Neogen is looking for a Marketing Automation Systems Analyst to own and optimize our global marketing automation platform. You will administer Eloqua, build the campaign and nurture programs that run on it, protect the integrity of the data flowing between Eloqua and Salesforce, and act as the technical partner our regional marketing teams rely on.

This role sits where marketing strategy meets technical execution. You will spend your time building workflows, troubleshooting integrations, enforcing data standards, and training marketers to use the platform well. If you like turning a messy request into a clean, scalable, well-documented program, this is the job.

Marketing Automation Systems Analyst

About the Role

Neogen is seeking a Marketing Automation Systems Analyst to own, administer, and optimize our global marketing automation platform. This role will support the technical execution of marketing programs, including campaign automation, nurture programs, lead management, segmentation, data integrations, and platform governance.

Working at the intersection of marketing strategy and technical execution, the Marketing Automation Systems Analyst will partner with regional and global Marketing, Sales Operations, IT, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable marketing automation solutions.

The successful candidate will bring hands-on marketing automation experience, strong technical and analytical skills, and the ability to turn complex or ambiguous requests into efficient, well-documented solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

In this role, you will make an impact by:

  • Administering and optimizing Neogen’s Eloqua marketing automation platform to support global and regional marketing teams
  • Designing, building, testing, and managing marketing automation workflows, including email campaigns, lead scoring models, nurture programs, and program canvases
  • Configuring, maintaining, and continuously improving campaign templates, forms, landing pages, and other marketing automation assets
  • Monitoring platform health, email deliverability, system performance, and data synchronization and troubleshooting issues that could impact marketing programs
  • Maintaining data integrity within Eloqua and across integrations with Salesforce and other connected systems
  • Managing contact lists, segmentation, lead scoring, and audience strategies to support effective campaign targeting
  • Developing and maintaining segmentation strategies aligned with customer segments, personas, regions, and go-to-market strategies
  • Monitoring and supporting the synchronization of marketing and customer data between Eloqua, Salesforce, and other connected platforms
  • Supporting compliance with applicable data privacy and electronic communication requirements, including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL, and regional requirements
  • Partnering with Legal and IT to support consent management, preference centers, data governance, and data retention practices

  • Providing technical guidance, training, and support to marketers using Eloqua and related marketing technologies
  • Serving as an escalation point for campaign build issues, data synchronization failures, platform questions, and other marketing automation issues
  • Collaborating with vendors and service providers to troubleshoot and resolve platform and integration issues
  • Implementing and maintaining tracking scripts, tags, pixels, and other technologies used to measure campaign performance
  • Supporting testing, quality assurance, and release processes for campaign assets, workflows, integrations, and platform changes
  • Developing and maintaining documentation for marketing automation processes, data flows, system configurations, naming conventions, and platform standards
  • Identifying opportunities to automate manual marketing processes, improve workflows, and reduce operational complexity
  • Establishing and promoting scalable marketing automation standards and best practices across global and regional marketing teams
  • Analyzing campaign, workflow, and system performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
